and then you know
and you forgive

It’s good sometimes to be wrong. You get to see what forgiveness feels like. And it doesn’t have to be a public apology. It can just be a look in your eye a prayer a promise take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart and what does that mean? Matthew asks saying perhaps I should secularize this:

1. Be patient
2. Be kind
3. Do not envy
4. Do not boast
5. Do not behave rudely
6. Seek not your own
7. Be not easily provoked
8. Hate evil
9. Rejoice not in wrong, be happy in truth
10. Bear it, believe it, hope and endure

and no it never fails. and young men’s visions old men’s dreams—they will fail. what you talk about among you—it will cease. what you think you know—it will vanish away. for what we see ahead what we know looking back—just pieces of a puzzle. someday it’ll all be perfect and the last piece will fit. when I was a child I had a fleeting glimpse… but when I became a man, I put away childish things. and now it’s all mirrors, but soon I’ll see my face. and for now I know what I know, but then I shall know that I am known…

God is love

so Matthew Malachi says to Kenneth Dean:

I should have learned this in college. My marriage would have gone a whole lot better…
